Md. Tahmid Hasan is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Northern University of Business and Technology Khulna (NUBTK), Khulna-9100, Bangladesh. His responsibilities include conducting classes and labs.

Besides his job, he is also pursuing his M. Sc. Engineering degree in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Khulna-9203, Bangladesh. His current research topic is Computer Vision.

His research interests include Computer Vision, Deep Learning and Automation.

Md. Tahmid Hasan was born in a small village in the Rangpur district of Bangladesh. He spent his childhood there. He moved to the city in 2012 after passing SSC from Rupasi High School. After passing HSC from Carmichael College in 2014, he was admitted to the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU). He received his B. Sc. Engineering degree in 2018 from there.
